According to NordPass, here are the most common passwords used in the transportation industry:

It does not take an expert hacker testing hashes across billions of password combinations to figure out these passwords.
Convenience Vs. Security?
If you have ever read another article on the subject of password security, chances are that you have heard all the common tidbits: use numbers, capital letters in the middle, and throw the Batman symbol somewhere in there as well. As it turns out, the pioneer of complicated passwords actually regrets the advice he has given, which has likely caused more forgotten passwords than the amount ever hacked.
Our advice to you is a very simple method. If the system allows you to, opt for a password that is simple but very, very long. Let’s use a password strength checking application to compare two passwords. The first is a short but complicated password: j0Ce!1n3 (Joceline, if one were to name the password after their daughter):
Joceline itself is easy to remember, but all the curves in the password may be harder to remember. Was it an “e”, “E”, or “3”?
Now compare it to another password: drivingmytruckmakesmehappy. No capitals, no spaces, no numbers, no symbols, just a simple sentence that is 26 letters long.
Even if the hacker knew for a fact that your password had no curveballs, it would still take significantly longer for it to hack than j0Ce!1n3. Does it take effort to type so many letters? Minimally, but it is less work than having to click “Forgot Password” once a week.
